Emotional Freedom Technique

What is the Emotional Freedom Technique? It is a system of healing and empowerment based on holistic alternative medicine including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy. It was created by Gary Craig, a holistic health professional who found it worked on chronic problems in his patients, when nothing else did!  Gary Craig EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or Therapy) has been proven time and time again to reverse even severe chronic issues by re-programming the neural networks (brain and nervous system signals) that run the same program that is keeping you in a position where you don’t want to be.

 

It is known to work by the thousands of patients who are healed by using it and it is now backed up by clinical research. EFT Therapy takes the centuries old wisdom and knowledge of our human energy system and shows you how to heal yourself from mental, emotional and physical issues that have been bothering you for years! Your body’s energy system, with pathways and circuits that look like a computer motherboard or circuit board, is how your brain carries out signals that affect your thoughts, emotions and physical reactions, like sudden raised blood pressure or pulse rate. For instance, when you have an anxiety attack (panic attack) your brain sends the signals through these pathways that instantly tell you to prepare for danger.

 

It raises your blood pressure automatically (without your control), pulse rate, makes you sweat, and sends all the blood in your body to your extremities (arms, legs, hands, feet) so you can fight or flee from the source of danger in front of you. This isn’t useful, or even necessary 99% of the time. It’s called an auto reaction. Using EFT Therapy gives you a way to break out of this pattern of auto reaction, and reprogram the signals that come up with a healthy response to whatever the trigger was.

 

 

How EFT Works

How EFT Works is by learning which pathways control the situation you want to improve, and then reprogramming them with new commands. I worked as a computer programmer for years before I got into holistic health, and I was amazed at how by using the right language (machine language, or computer programming language) I could make my computer talk, give needed facts or details, show videos or operate other connected equipment miles away.

 

When there was a “glitch” in the software (computer program) I would see what the symptoms were (undesired results) and then find which pathways needed to be activated to change it to the result I wanted. I used computer language for that. EFT Tapping Therapy uses “interrupt” signals on the exact energy pathways in your body needed to solve that issue you are having. You simply tap with your fingers on specific acupuncture or acupressure points that control that pathway. You trigger the unwanted response or issue, and re-program it to what you want. You repeat this process until your symptoms lessen, and eventually stop.
